DOCTRINAL STATEMENT:

We believe that we have been led by God to network college students and young adults together for the purpose of sharing Christ’s love, bearing one another’s burdens, investing into ministry through retreats, camps, local congregation support and resources.  We recognize the Bible as the source and the only authority for doctrine and we embrace the following statements: 

We believe that God created all things. 

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  (Genesis 1:1-2)

We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.  (Matthew 1:20-21)

We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man.

We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life.

We believe that Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a sacrifice and that our justification is made by His literal physical resurrection from death. 

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

We believe that salvation through Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.

We believe that the human race inherited a sinful nature and became alienated from God; and that man is totally depraved and is completely unable to remedy his separation from God except through Jesus Christ. 

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

Therefore, salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that Satan is the enemy of God and man. (John 10:10)

We believe that Satan is a person, the author of sin and the cause of the fall; that he is the open and declared enemy of God and man; and that he shall be eternally punished in the lake of fire.

We believe the Bible is God’s complete revelation of Himself to mankind. 

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man or woman of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe in the standard set by Christ to live holy and separated lives. (1 Thessalonians 4:1-12)

We believe that all believers should live in a manner not to bring shame or reproach to the name of Christ; and God commands separation from all religious apostasy, sinful pleasures, practices and associations.

We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit. (John 16:7-13)

We believe that God, the Holy Spirit, is that person of the Trinity that restrains evil in the world, convicts man of sin, regenerates believers at the moment of salvation, indwells and seals unto the day of redemption all who are saved and fills for power and wisdom those who are yielded to Him. 

We believe that God has prepared a place called heaven for His children. 

Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God; trust also in me.  In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  (John 14:1-2)
